Where did you attend college?
A: B.A. in Journalism/Advertising from UGA

What year did you join MBCA?
A: 2023

What do you love about MBCA?
A: I value MBCA, creating and challenging our students to a quality academic education, allowing each the opportunity to realize their full potential. Education that includes Biblical studies and principles allows each to apply these principles to real world issues, enabling students to approach life and decision-making that reflects their faith.
God is at the center of every life and academic endeavor. I strive to extend the hand of Christian fellowship to all that enter the MB Upper School with patience, acceptance, kindness, and caring, and pray that each person feels special, loved, and welcomed.

What is your all-time favorite sports team?
A: UGA BullDAWGS!

What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?
A: John 16:33 NIV - "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
This verse says it all - we know there will be trials and tribulations. However, as followers of Christ, we should feel a sense of peace, being confident in the knowledge that God is in control always. HE is never caught by surprise!

What are three fun facts about yourself?
A: I am blessed to have a wonderful family that includes five incredible grandchildren, ages two to ten.
I love tennis, pickleball, Wordle, just about anything outdoors, game nights with friends, and a variety of trivia.
As mentioned, my beloved UGA BullDAWGS is my favorite team. On any given game day, I am gathered with other DAWG fans and alumni to cheer on our team!

What is your favorite book?
A: My favorite book of all time is Charlotte's Web, by E.B. White. While considered a children's book, this beloved story is a true literary jewel, providing lessons of life, courage, sorrow, and relationships in a simple, easily understood narrative. Although I read this book many times in my youth, Covid presented an opportunity to share this book with my granddaughters, over FaceTime, over several weeks. This provided our family such a warm feeling during this crazy time, and further embedded this wonderful story about true friendship, in our hearts.
