Support

You Fed Me

Dear MBCA Families:

Thanksgiving brought us another opportunity to remember how grateful we are for the generosity of our MBCA community and the enthusiasm our students have for serving others.

And as you probably know, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is #GivingTuesday, a day of giving recognized around the world which has grown into a powerful global movement. MBCA is proud to participate in this special day which encourages people to do good!

On this #GivingTuesday, MBCA is raising money to support our annual You Fed Me event to be held in March 2025. Every dollar raised today goes to support people in desperate situations and presents our students with a special opportunity to serve as the hands and feet of Christ. You Fed Me brings students from JK - 8th together to help eradicate world hunger for some of the world's most vulnerable populations.

Our goal this year is to pack 100,000 meals, so we need your support! Gifts of all sizes will make an impact on our efforts to provide meals to those in areas affected by war, poverty, and natural disasters. The funds for You Fed Me come from donations within our community, including student-organized fundraisers. On this Giving Tuesday, we are asking our families to prayerfully consider partnering with us to provide these invaluable meals.

If you've ever had the opportunity to volunteer during one of our You Fed Me meal-packing days, you know why it is such a beloved tradition. We look forward to sharing more about You Fed Me in the New Year.

Thank you!

  • US 101 - Rescheduled Sep 5th

We have an important update regarding our upcoming US 101 – Upper School & Beyond event. Originally planned for this Friday, the day before the long weekend, we’ve received feedback that many of you may be traveling and unable to attend.

In an effort to respect your time and give all of our families the opportunity to participate, we are rescheduling US 101 to take place as part of our Upper School Open House on Friday, September 5. Rather than holding two separate events on different dates, we have decided that integrating Upper School 101 with our Open House will allow us to be mindful of your time while still providing the most comprehensive picture of the Upper School journey. This will allow you to hear directly from our high school students and recent graduates, ask questions, and gain valuable insight into the Upper School experience and beyond.

We will be sending additional details soon regarding the Open House schedule and how US 101 will be included in the itinerary. For now, we encourage you to mark 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5 on your calendar. If you already plan to attend, you can RSVP at this link, and additional details will follow in another email. We look forward to seeing you there!
