A: Besides the Bible, it is difficult to say. I would say that I have favorite books, rather than one particular favorite. Nevertheless, the following are amongst my favorites: Paradise Lost (John Milton); The Iliad (Homer); The Dialogues of Plato, especially the Symposium; the works of Shakespeare, especially Hamlet, The Merchant of Venice, and A Midsummer Night's Dream; The Aeneid (Virgil); 1984 (George Orwell); and finally, J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarillion.
