What year did you join MBCA?
A: 2024

What do you love about MBCA?
A: After speaking with the teachers, administrators, and other adults working at MBCA, I am most excited about becoming part of a school culture that focuses on educating the whole child and creating lifelong learners.

What is your all-time favorite sports team?
A: Atlanta Braves (winning or not!)

What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?
A: Joshua 1:9 - "Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid or discouraged: for the Lord thy God will be with you wherever you go."
My first grade teacher, Mrs. Bobbie Askew, instilled in me the fact that God is always with me, no matter what or where, so I am never alone. After constantly moving and changing schools as a young person, this verse has served me well throughout my life.

A: I am the middle of five children and the only girl (can you say "tomboy"?)
I have two adult children. Amanda is 38 and a teacher, and Nathan is 34 and works for Home Depot.
I have four adorable, kind, smart, handsome, and precious grandsons.

What is your favorite book?
A: Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery
