Last night, the Eagles Young Men's lacrosse team won their first game against Mt. Pisgah 9 to 4. Scoring was led by Co-Captains Whit Hughen with 3 goals and Beckham Smallwood with 2 goals, and by attackman Jackson Connelly, also with 2 goals. The scoring was rounded out by attackman Mason Bennet and midfielder Kyle Israel with one goal apiece. Goalie Porter Reiboldt had an outstanding game and even scored an assist, and standout defensive performances included Defensemen Isaac Kim and James Robinson, with Knox Walstad and Griffin Lemming pulling double duty as both defensemen and long-stick-midfielders.
The Eagles home opener is today at 3:30, here at the middle school, versus Mount Vernon.
